Every once in a while, while browsing Artstation, I’ll come across somebody’s character art and appreciate something about their equipment. I found https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Yabned Mingu Choi’s concept art and noticed further down that there was a cool looking, quite simple saber that I’d love to see in 3D.
As usual with these, I set myself a 2 hour deadline and upload what I have after those two hours, regardless of how happy I am with it. Some details differ slightly from the concept art, but I felt they were strong design choices. The emitter has a slight gap on the underside, to better show off the emitter and, when it would be activated, the beam.
